Wschód Kultury – Inne Brzmienia Art’n’Music Festival to festiwal umożliwiający obcowanie z najciekawszymi zjawiskami muzycznymi na styku gatunków, tradycji i wpływów kulturowych. To jedno z najbardziej inspirujących i odkrywczych wydarzeń muzycznych w Polsce, które pozwala usłyszeć w sercu Lublina światowe gwiazdy i muzyczne odkrycia.
Do tej pory na scenach „Innych Brzmień” wystąpili m.in. tacy artyści jak Einstürzende Neubauten, Tortoise, Juno Reactor, Goldfrapp, Tony Allen, Mulatu Astatke, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Asian Dub Foundation, Yat-Kha, The Tiger Lilies.
Niezmiennie inspirująca jest też, zawarta w nazwie festiwalu, idea „Wschodu Kultury”, która sprowadza do Lublina najciekawszych artystów m.in. z takich krajów jak Ukraina, Białoruś, Gruzja czy Armenia.
Festiwalowi towarzyszy cykl debat, a także warsztaty, wystawy, pokazy filmowe oraz specjalny program „Małe Inne Brzmienia” przygotowany dla dzieci.

Festiwal jest jednym z wydarzeń lubelskiej odsłony projektu Wschód Kultury, który powstał dzięki zaangażowaniu Ministerstwa Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego, Narodowego Centrum Kultury oraz środowisk twórczych i samorządów wschodniej Polski.

East of Culture – Different Sounds is a festival which offers an opportunity to get acquainted with the most interesting musical phenomena transcending different genres, traditions and cultural influences. It is one of the most inspiring music events in Poland, which allows us to hear world-class stars and make mind-blowing discoveries in the very centre of Lublin.

So far, “Different Sounds” has welcomed such artists as: Einstürzende Neubauten, Tortoise, Juno Reactor, Goldfrapp, Tony Allen, Mulatu Astatke, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Asian Dub Foundation, Yat-Kha, The Tiger Lilies.
The idea of “East of Culture” written into the name of the festival also continues to inspire. It draws to Lublin the most interesting artists from such countries as Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia or Armenia.
The festival is accompanied by a series of debates, workshops, exhibitions, film screenings and a special programme for children – “Little Different Sounds”.

The festival is Lublin’s iteration of the “East of Culture” project which has been made possible thanks to the efforts of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the National Centre for Culture and local creative groups and governments in eastern Poland.
